The more than 600 sq meters of space the exhibition is arranged in, is basically the result of the unification of three historic buildings, including a fresco ornamented hall from the second half of the 18^th century.

The inner city palace of which it once was part of, must have belonged to Count Ferenc Esterházy, Lord Lieutenant of Fejér County, and later his family, from the end of the 17^th to the 19^th century.
